After not painting this side of the year thought it was time to start. So rather than jumping straight into one of my city scenes I thought I would take a walk (daily exercise) along the beach. It was cold and wet but to be honest is was fab. I took some snaps and began composing at home. I kept my pallet to a minimum and was more interested in just capturing the atmosphere. I call this one friends as we all need a friend and its nice to walk in the elements with a friend. Its oil on board 40cm by 20cm. #seascapes#oilpaintings#tynemouth
