I have been thinking about my frames of late and want to introduce you to the frame I will be using for my original paintings. Keeping with the dark grey but with a moulded detail. Here is my latest painting "The Stack" resplendantwith in its frame. This will be making an appearance @tynemouth_markets this weekend.

Here is my latest offering its oil on board 810mm by 405mm and is of the Low Lights at North Shields Fish Quay. Its another lesson in trying not to paint too much detail and letting light and marks tell the story. I like how negative light can be just as dramatic as positive light with absolutely nothing painted in the foreground but giving the impression you are standing on the Quay. There is an indication of the Shite Hawks flying around looking for scraps from the fishing
Well got a lovely phone call from a lady I met at the market on Sunday and she asked about a couple of prints she saw and loved. I went around to her home and presented them to her and went the extra mile and hung them on the wall for her as she had nobody to help her. This wasn't a problem and I hung the tyne bridge painting in her hall way and a walk to the monument on the half landing. Love that I make somebody happy with the work I produce and they see something in it tha
